Meet Ally. 6 A.M. Ally.
Each morning, we're greeted by a stumbling, crusty-eyed,
wild-haired, incoherently mumbling six year-old clutching two large stuffed
animals under each arm as she enters our bedroom like a wrecking ball coming
through the doorway. Although it's only 40-50 feet from her bed to our
room, she navigates the straight course like a pin-ball, and we begin to laugh
as she is heard bouncing off walls/furniture, with the occasional
homer-simpson-esque "D'Oh!" sound effects before we can
even lay eyes on her. Despite looking like she came off an eight-day bender and
falling head first into our bed to cuddle for a minute, this is just her
morning routine. Every. Single. Day.
Ally: Please, please, don't ever change. You bring
smiles and laughter to start every day - and we love you for it.
Happy Friday to all!

Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh, how funny.
ReplyDelete...and check out that hair.
That's something I can identify with!
