Things We've Learned to Live Without...

5+ years of life with our gang has provided some interesting realizations.  Any family can relate, but we've definitely learned to live without a few key things.

Silence - When the preferred method of communication is "scream-over-your-sibling-for-supremacy-and-priority", 8pm bedtime and the weird lack of noise feels foreign.

Ever been to Ketchum, Idaho? Until a few weeks ago, neither had Gen. We had a chance to venture up for a quick weekend to help celebrate Danny & Dana's wedding. Danny is one of my oldest friends, and we knew this weekend would be a memorable one with the unique town and awesome people included.

How Do You Organize Chaos?

Like most families, we've struggled to organize our lives via hourly, daily, and weekly schedules.  With Gen back to work, and the kids in school, lately we seem to be on the losing end of daily battles to stay on top of it all.

Gen & I try to stay on the same page, and recognize our own differences in how we deal with it all.
