Halloween Hangover

Halloween came and went too fast this year.  As usual, the kid's costume selection process was chaotic, hilarious, and resulted in an eclectic collection of personas:

 Molly:  Little Red Riding Hood

Libby:  Rapunzel

Ally:  A Beautiful Angel
(don't you dare call it just an angel...)

Russ:  An "Alien Spider Monkey"
(no, seriously)

A full day of costumes and celebrations at school, followed by the annual family Trick-Or-Treating festivities and Grampy Russ' pad made for an amazingly prolonged sugar high.

Not thrilled with photos (wonder where he gets that from...)

Libs & Molly:  Heavy bags, delirious smiles

Creative decor in the neighborhood
Russ was mesmerized by "the cool dead dude"

Nothing like looking back on previous years ( 06'07'08' (my personal favorite), 09', and 10' ) to see these little people changing and becoming more independent by the day.  The kids are already hard at work picking out their outfits for next year.

Hope you all had a safe & happy Halloween - and the sugar hangover passed quickly!

  6. First off, I LOVE how you guys allow your kids to show off their individual personalities by choosing their own costumes! They all look adorable. Where did you get your beautiful costumes from? Especially that beautiful angel?
Gen, you are looking so lovely. Would love to see an "after" shot of your surgery. I bet you are all healed up nicely now with no scars! No regrets about the intensive surgery? Your kids are growing up so gracefully. They are so tall now, too! Libby looks so much like her Daddy! Your grandfather looks so young! No wrinkles! Goo Granddaddy! Is your mama's real name really Donzie? That's interesting!
