Conor is always happy to be home in the great Northwest and his Facebook status updates have been cracking me up. Here are a few of his "Only in Portland" themed cell phone shots/captions. Gotta love it.

"Fred Meyers: where else can you find micro brews, organic sweet potatoes, deck furniture,
and bike carriers for your car?"
- Seriously, he is fiercely proud of this store!!

-Kids made us proud as they chomped down on the famous neighborhood burgers.

"Playgrounds and bike riding in the rain"

I hope you all had a great holiday season. We hit the road back to Cali tomorrow morning. The kiddos made out like bandits this Christmas and I can't wait to share all the pictures and fun we've had up here in the great NW. It's been a blast and great to have some much needed McNulty family time.

I love the Fred Myers in Portland we have not been for years. I will with Kendryk in the coming years but I think I can only take her on the trip!
ReplyDeleteAnd on a Grant note every time the purolator truck comes she asks if they are bring Russell! Mabye I should not have told her that!
Love the Pacific NW and the Portland area in particular. Those pics are priceless!
ReplyDeletePoetry posts?? Lol! THat is a new one!!
ReplyDeleteLove that sign, too!!
hello! i'm a new jerseyan who has been a blog reader for about 2 1/2 years. i was in portland last year for the 1st time and walked on that very soccer field! i went out to visit family friends who organize a st. patrick's day parade every year for the neighborhood and it kicks off at grant. what a small world! i never realized that that is conor's alma mater - did he/his family go to the madeleine, by any chance? we went to mass there and it seemed like a lovely parish! hope you had a very merry christmas and happy new year!
ReplyDeleteHey Anon!
ReplyDeleteSt. Patty's day is a fav holiday in the McNulty house! I'm sure they've been to a parade or two over the years. THAT is AWESOME! And yes, Madeleine, is the family church as well. We spent xmas ever there! A bunch of the pictures I just posted are from the neighborhood... I love it up there!!!
Thanks for the funny and sweet comments everyone. Barb, you make me laugh!
XOXO
