Thank you for all the kind and encouraging comments on the post below. It's SOooo nice to know that I'm not alone. I had no idea so many other woman had these issues too. We are one strong gender I tell ya! My count down is on and I'm so ready!
In other news... I gave the girls darling little bobs! For the first time EVER, Ally's hair is the longest. Don't freak out mom. Swim lessons start next month and it's the perfect hair cut for summer, pool time, tangles, and chlorine. It's also easy for Conor to fix while I'm down. BUT... I did PROMISE them they could grow it out for the winter- they are such girlie girls and love their long hair and curls. HOWEVER, they HATE to have it brushed. I'm all about simplicity these days.

ReplyDeletewhat adorable hair cuts (& what a smart mommy to think ahead for when you're out of the pic a bit and for summer!!) I just teased Sarah this morning that we'd cut her hair short like her brothers b/c she hates to have it combed and hates it in her eyes...(even though hers isn't even very long...still shorter than your girls' after their cuts! ha!)

ReplyDeleteThat is an adorable length. They look so sweet. My DD has such curls (that I love and she hates) that she won't wear it short - too poofy she says! But I think it's very cute!

Adorable. I am a new reader, and I give you a thumbs up on the decision... I taught a three year old summer camp two summers ago that did swim lessons each day and I would spend at least 30 mins after combing out hair. Having to brush tangles out for multiple little girls, multiple times a day would just take time away from all the fun you could be having!! Your girls (and boy) are beautiful!

ReplyDeleteCute do's...and what is it about girls and having their hair brushed?! I think my neighbors probably think I torture my little girl because she can scream SO loud when I have to brush it afer a day out in the wind or when it's curly from sleeping in rollers. I've told her we can cut it off if she doesn't like it being brushed...I get the other scream 'nooooooo'. Girls...we are fickle sometimes! I wonder if we were that way when we were little.....
