I'm a broken record lately....
"It's beautiful day in the neighborhood!!"
AND.. I realize I sound a bit like Mr. Rogers.

I already talk to puppets, love my neighbors, entertain children all day long, sing songs and change my clothes when I walk in the door! Now, with all the sunshine & happiness spilling out of me lately, I just need a house coat and some slippers to complete the transformation....

Homer was onto something! ;)
Awww don't hate me. I love this time of year!! Gotta enjoy it while we can right? Before we know it's gonna be too hot to do anything but crank up the AC and swim in Auntie Barb's pool!!! I know many of you have been trapped under snow and are sick of the winter weather. We're sending sunny thoughts your way right now!!
Needless to say we've been going nuts outside the last couple weeks and enjoying every minute. All this spring air is making me picture happy too...
So mature!

I hope by the time they are driving I have a wheel (& brake) on the passenger side too!!!

Don't hate us too much! If it makes you feel better- it rained all day today. Also, we've got to enjoy it while we can because good old Sactown gets WAY TOO HOT - WAY TOO SOON!!! I love the transitional seasons and how the world comes to life when the sun comes out.
I hope your having a fantastic week! Happy Wednesday!

Can't resist-"Walkin' on sunshine" through your adventures! We are literally covered in snow so a little taste of sunshine is amazing!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Wednesday!
~Elyse
How could we hate you?!
ReplyDeleteHappy you aren't experiencing crap-tastic weather this time of year....it makes me feel like the sun'll come out tomorrow!
Love you,
Moni♥
i am SO jealous!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYour kids are absolutely adorable! I love reading your humorous posts! I have noticed that you always call Molly "grown up", what do you mean by that, is she more mature than other kids?
ReplyDeleteWe have temperatures of 91 degrees here, too hot and some rainy days (not a great combination) but at least we have a great time.
ReplyDeleteLove to see pictures of the kids.
Have a good day.
PS: I like your interview yesterday.
Love the pics! Love the one of My Libs and Russ digging for worms!! I'm sure Bethie would have something awesome to say about that! Love you woman, thanks for putting a smile on my face!
ReplyDeleteAww Thanks for the sweet comment ya'll!!
ReplyDeleteAnon- YES! It's like she's a 40 year old in a 3 year olds body.. a very old soul and SO mature for her age!!

Thank you for this post. It reminds me that soon, hopefully very soon, all the white stuff around us will be gone and we took can go and play outside. :)
ReplyDeleteJust a suggestion! We have a lab that used to just about pull our shoulders out when we would walk her, until we bought THE BEST dog accessory EVER. http://www.seefido.com/html/dog_harness.htm

I can now walk her with just my pinky and balancing coffee etc. It doesn't allow them to pull, when they do, it automatically pulls them toward you instead of forward. The leash clasps at the chest instead of the back of the neck and it makes ALL the difference. Just an idea, I guarantee the kids could walk her easily! Hope you love your dog as much as we love ours! Your family is adorable! Thanks for blogging!
how fun! that last pic of libby and russ OMG sooooo sweet!
ReplyDeleteThat park looks awesome. Love the girls sweater. You children are so happy in all of the pictures.
ReplyDeleteKids look so happy playing in the sunshine! Please send some sun our way. We are about to get hit with even more snow tomorrow, yikes!
ReplyDeleteLove how you bring Princess Penny with you everywhere, too! But, I thought you were going to stop using that cruel barbed wire collar on her? What happened?
Jessica,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet comment.
Yes, I was going to stop using the pinch collar.. but she does pull quiet a bit still and we are training her. I have a feeling we will say goodbye to it soon. But for now it works for us and it's not hurting her in the least bit. Not at all!!
She's funny bc she runs when we run, walks when we walk, chills when we chill. She's a good dog and we are in love with her. She's one of the kids now but still needs a little training.

Okay, I am dying with jealousy. I just looked at your photos and then glanced forlornly out my window where huge snowflakes are literally pouring out of the sky. Sadness. I am glad your kids get to go outside and enjoy such beautiful weather though!
ReplyDeleteAwww too cute as usual. Can't help but be jealous of your great weather when I look out the window today and I see - MORE SNOW! Expecting 18 inches by the time this one is done. Can you say SPRING!!
ReplyDeleteWe did Pet Smart Training with Rex if you have a Pet Smart near you. It was the best $99 spent because we all went (kids too) and we learned how to teach him to listen to us.

Can I just say (again) that I'm so jealous of that green grass, sunshine and nice weather! Send some Spring this way!!
ReplyDeleteHi Gen! We chatted at the park the other day - turns out we have a friend in common (Ali) and she forwarded me your blog. Your kids are beautiful. Hope to catch you at the park sometime!
