Blue Sky & Delays

I don't know about you, but I like the bummer news first. So, here it is...

Our new baby is running late. We were supposed to bring her home today, however, we will have to wait another week. What's another few days, right?! I was worried about telling the kids. But they are handling it very well, thanks to some GREAT advice I received from my friend, Tracey. We decided to make a game out of the waiting and the peeps are loving it. We made her a video, the kids are drawing her pictures, buying dog treats and finding new ways to countdown. I'm sure it will make her arrival that much sweeter. I promise to share all the details once she is here.

Now, the GOOD news... it didn't rain today!! YAY! The kids and I were off to the park faster than a bolt of lighting!

  2. What sweet pictures. If you are looking for a fun, rainy day, countdown activity... there are lots of great sites that have recipes for homemade doggie treats. We make them all the time for my parent's dog and it is lots of fun!

  3. Hey darlin! I can't wait to see those kids hugging on that doggies neck. I am so happy you had park weather. You are such a fun mama and I love all of the pictures of them playing and I am so jealous...I want to go to the park!

Love Libs stinky face, she is so beautiful even when she makes the stink face. I don't think your kids could ever make an ugly face -they get that from their mams.

I just posted a picture of Lyss making her stinky face today too - weird.
